Augmenting face-to-face social interactions with technology.
I can't seem to stop thinking about how technologies might better support or augment face-to-face social interactions.
I think technology is doing a really good job at making information available at our fingertips, but what's really interesting me is the way that these technologies are changing our face-to-face interactions.
So, for example it seems increasingly that recieved text messages and mobile phone calls take precedence over the immediate interactions that surround us. How might technologies be designed that in fact support face-to-face communications?
